Director of Flights Safety Standards

Mr. Hamilton C. Rogers is the Director of Flight Safety Standards Directorate and a professional Aviation Safety inspector with more than ten (10) years’ experience at the Liberia Civil Aviation Authority. He has been involved in conducting safety audits of foreign airline operators’ maintenance and operational home base facilities including review of flight crew training records, maintenance practices, and safety management systems. He has also been involved in conducting safety inspection of airports, ramp inspections of aircraft and surveillance of aircraft operators’ facilities to ensure compliance with national and international safety standards and regulations.
Mr. Rogers joined the LCAA in 2009 as an A&P (Airframe & Power plant) mechanic in training and was elevated to Junior Airworthiness inspector, Airworthiness inspector, Assistant Manager-Airworthiness and now Director of Flight Safety Standards Directorate.

In 2013, he obtained a Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Technician Course with a type rating on the B737 classic aircraft from the Ethiopian Aviation Academy. He later sat the Ethiopian Civil Aviation Authority License examination test and passed will flying colors thereby obtaining a license in Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) and a license in Avionics.
Mr. Rogers graduated in 2005 with a BSc degree (magna cum Laude) in Electronic Engineering from the Don Bosco Polytechnic and was later recruited to serve as a teacher assistant.
In addition to his university education, he has participated and earned certificates in several professional trainings and conferences dating back from 2009 to present.
